Time to move on ...
With much sadness, it's time to move on. The Bimmer is going back (least is over) and no more bimmer for me. Need something that will:
- sit at least 4 people comfortable
- High Pressure Fuel Pump will not break down every 2 months
- will not attrack too much attention
- will not be known as a 'co*k'
- will roll down the correct driver side window when picking up the hunnies on the street (e90)
- don't need the amazing handling..
and i bought a .............
So I went out and got a used 2007 Carrera

umm. buying a porsche because your bmw is not 100% reliable is mabye not the best idea in the world.
regardless, its a huge step up. PM bruce (his username is bliss) and change your username to something more reflective of your current situation. He might be able to help you out with common problems too, i think he has a 2008.

^^as much as i'm pretty much indifferent to most bmw's made in the last 5 years, i'd totally forget about all of them if i had a 997.

really? you'll pick up another E90 instead of a 911? hm......... I might think twice if it was a M3 but even when I was looking, I chose the 2007 911 instead of the 2008 M3 sedan..
