I have no e46... but when I put some pedals in my e30.. the bolts used to mount the pedals were so long that they worked perfectly as a "clutch stopper"

make sure you put some rubber stoppers over the bolts so they dont poke holes through your carpet!!!

.

For e46. if you want to start your engine, u need to press your clutch all the way down. Therefore, if you install the clutch stopper, u can't start your car. However, I know there is a way to make this work. ANyone know how?
