yep... we take it up the a$$ for pretty much everything compared to the US.

Which is why I will go out of my way to always find the lowest possible price, and if that means buying from a US retailer so be it.

If you got the right connections and know what you're doing, you can have your own car stolen and actually profit.

Just throwing it out there

In toronto i was paying 143 dollars a month, full coverage for my 2003 m3 and 318is together... Here, for my M3 i was paying 230 a month... that's with maximum discount. Not sure what you guys are talking about...

Not sure how you got those rates, but it sounds very cheap for TO...I pay that much for one car, (and not an M3, with clean record). For 2 cars (and house insurance from same company) i get about $220 (for cars only).

and of course, Brampton being on the news about highest accidents doesn't help grrrrr
That rate is based on "insurance claims"...and lets just say there is a "bit" of fraude included in those numbers...

In Toronto I was with TD Meloche Monnex... and the rates I mentioned above were from there.
Anyway, this morning RCMP officer called me and said that my car was found. He also mentioned that they will keep it to get fingerprints from it, and so on, as it was used in some other crime.
Now, the question: what should I do? Insurance will want to return the car back to me, but I dont want it back as I have no idea what it went through during last 12 days or so. Moreover, now in car's history it's going to say thats its a theft recovered car. Won't be worth as much. What are my options? Any advice would be very appreciated!

Talk to the insurance company about diminished value due to title change, and see what kind of deal you could strike with them. I wouldn't want the car back either.

Pretty fast car got stolen.... sounds like a quick get-a-way car was needed for something...
