Sweet video Bear!

A lot of work was done this weekend.

Big thanks to Chris and Jamie (Aero) for picking up my car on their way back from Ogdensburg . The cage has been completed and the seats are in - just need to paint it now.

I did a lot of work on the engine yesterday as well - the top end was put on with no issues! Timing was all set properly (the first time too!), and the engine spins SOOO smooth. I'm really excited. I just need a few things to be able to close it up and then it will be complete.

The plan is to finish it up this week, and then paint the cage and start pulling the old engine on the weekend.

I'm getting REALLY excited

Hahaha that would be pretty sweet Jay! I'm still going to be on street tires and street suspensions, so I think those are going to be my limiting factors. There's going to be some huge competition in B-class this year, but I should place well within my class. Anything above that will be a bonus

Lots of progess was made this weekend - things are really coming together

Saturday I finished the engine as much as I could - it's all closed up other than the Valve cover which I'll be getting this week and the rear crank seal which I can't access while it's on the stand. Basically, it's ready to drop in the car!

I also brought the car in the garage and painted the roll bar, welded seat belt brackets, and the painted the seat mounts.

The plan for next weekend is to get the car on the hoist and pull the old M50 out. Should be exciting!

LOL my car is going to look like Christmas this year, but next winter a full body job will take place - including custom widebody panels and functional aero bits. Interior will be painted white, and exterior will be either black or white.

PS - my green is Laguna
