Maybe try some different wire? I have a couple spools if you wanna try one. It's almost like there is flux wire in the welder. :?

could be that the tip of the welder is dirty... I'll try changing it - maybe that will help

Ah yeah maybe that's it. Do you cut the wire before each weld? I find it helps get a good clean spark started too.

More done this weekend...
1) Finished the driver door bars (put a diagonal in for more stiffness)
2) reinforced the front shock tower braces
3) dropped the whole rear-end
4) Started on the rear subframe tie-ins.
Sorry for the cell-phone pics again
I hope to be DONE the cage tomorrow night  Well the bending and notching at least. After that I still have all the gussets to do.

The moment you've all been waiting for.... Good pictures
I FINISHED the cage tonight - well, almost. All the tubes are in, now i just need to touch up some welds, and gusset where needed. I'm at the home stretch!
