Got more work done tonight - gutted the two driver side doors.
Front door starting weight - 53lbs
Front door ending weight - 27 lbs (26 lb weight savings!!!)
Rear door starting weight - 45 lbs
Rear door ending weight - 21 lbs (24 lb weight savings!!!)
I can't believe how much was in there - after doing all 4 doors, I will have taken another 100 lbs out of the car [disclaimer- i will still need lexan installed so in actuallity, the weight savings won't be 100lbs, but it will still be close!]

Awesome! Though, I see some sound deadening on there still. 
So you've probably compensated for your front cage addition just in the doors. I bet there will be some more sheet metal that's made useless by the cage that you can take out as well.

Yup - too tired to get it out. Will do it for sure though.
I dunno - I have a feeling my front cage will weigh in the area of 150lbs with all the reinforcements and such.
Although i still need to remove the rear glass too. Also, the hood will be lighter, the trunk will be lighter...
I really think my 2500lb goal for next year is feasible!
