im assuming the fluid has been low since before then, but this light has just started comming on in the past week, still no excuse gonna get sum brake fluid shortly, btw canadian tire or go to bmw?

I checked my fluid level and its full but the light is still on could it be the sensor??

Did u check on a level surface? It may very well be ur sensor

Unplug the sensor and clean the contacts, perhaps they're grimy. The sensor could also require cleaning, which you would have to partially disassemble the fluid reservoir to clean. I imagine its a simple float - contact switch, so the contacts could easily get contaminated.

You could likely simple short out the two wires going to the sensor to get the light to go out, too, but that's ghetto.

could be the brake fluid sensor itself but is the e-brake sensor in e30's connected to that light. i know it is in VW and replacing that sensor is relatively simple and cheap if a DIY. probably costs $10-15 at the dealer for the e-brake sensor.
