changing BBS RGR from silver to diamond black

I have a set of 18x9 RGR looking to install on my E46 cabrio.

Overall they are in excellent condition. I am considering changing them from silver to diamond black. Is it expensive and worth the price? Or should I just have someone polish it and paint it silver to look like new again?

Advices appreciated.
