Which issue(s) specifically had the ad with the biplane and a white M3 behind?

Thanks for the info, really appreciate it!

Don't know if anybody's asked, but are you selling any of the brochures?

zackman17, did you scan those? The quality is pretty crappy. Can you repost with better quality scans?

as of right now i don't think so. i believe i have 4 complete years of car and driver and every magazine is pretty much as mint as mint can get. and i would like to keep it as a set. i also came across " a foreign car guide" dated january 1969. it's black and white and has a cpl pictures and a 2 page write up. i will post it later. i will tease with the heading on the page "FUN IN A 2002 TI" the quality is pretty crappy because the pictures in the magazine are pretty crappy and after the resizing and such it must distort it i will see what i can do... if you look down the page where i posted the picture of the m3 and the plane i took that pic with a nikon digital slr.

It appears that you used a very high compression ratio and that it's not due to bad print quality.
What settings did you use to scan the magazines?

I got another 1978 brochure, but it covers regular BMW only(E12, E21, E23, E24). Anyone interested in it? I am asking because originally I was planning on only scanning M brochures.

Holy mother of pearl...that was absolutely the coolest brochure I've seen.
Mark my words, if I win the millions, you will see me driving a replica CSL batmobile as a 'summer' daily driver (dry weather of course...LOL).
Yup, no Ferrari's or Lambo's for me...perhaps an Aston Martin or mid 80's 930 Turbo will also be seen in the stable along side a 427 Shelby Cobra.

I'd be interested in seeing/reading through the other brochure you have (E12, E21, E23, E24). If you can post that one up too, that would be awesome!

Thanks for sharing these
