Sorry to hear that pal. Been wondering where your car's been but thought you were simply keeping her under a sheet someplace. You've obviously moved on which is a big plus. Things can only get better now..............

Wow... I can not beleive it...

Sorry to hear about your loss bro! I can't even imagine how you felt that day after knowing all the time and money that you put into that car. I am sure that the GT2 will put a smile back on your face...

dam that must suck gonads........

I thought you car just went away for the winter. I thought with a car like that, you would of had more security than Fortnox

On a side note, my cars gone to, but I sold mine and I didn't get anywhere near what I paid or spent on it either

OH MAN, sorry to hear that, that's really bad! at first i thought it was a bad joke, but when u confirmed it, i was in shock, everyone knows your car all over the world, those who stole it, should be murdered!.......you know the old saying; never get attached to something, cuz you never know what is going to happen to it!.....i always get tempted to spend money on the car and do crazy shit, but you never know what's gonna happen!........that's really sad man, hopefully they will pay!

One plus about this thread is now you know randy how much you have had an effect on people in the bmw community. Everyone who has ever been to max or dtm or e30sport respects your car and more importantly you. You have had such a positive effect on the bmw community and I would like to say thanks for many helpful comments on this board an others...Maybe that rumor about the stripped out track e30 should become a reality when the porsche is done. Peace man, cant wait to see the porsche

Wow Randy, I am really sorry to hear about your loss! I can't even imagine how I would feel if that ever happened to my car. You and your car were definitely an inspiration to me when I started to modify my cabrio!

I guess the only positive thing I can say is that I am looking forward to your future car projects

This does bring up some questions that I have about the best alarms, and the best way to insure a car. Randy, you mentioned a "boomerang' system. Does anyone have any information about these? What about lojack? Although it probably varies from company to company, but what is involved with getting a car insured for replacement value, rather than book value?

Thanks!
Dave

Well, i believe that the BOOMERANG is like a TRACKING alarm, and it finds the car within 30 seconds, i think this is right, ANYONE?!
Also, to get a REPLACEMENT value, rather than a book, i believe you get your car APPRAISED, but then you would end up paying MORE insurance, i dunno how much!

OK I must confess......

I did it

Just kidding.

I only saw the car once, at a carshow. Speedorama i think?
I looked at it and thought... nice color. Couldn't look at it for too long because there were too many people around it.

I think your next car will be even more amazing.
