hhhmmmmm, so you didnt sell your rims to someone in the states when i asked you about them at the first episode.
that really blows, thats the thing that sucks ass about having such a nice show car thats worldly known. you know someone is going to like it enough, to think of steeling it, no matter what it takes. and i GUARANTEE someone that you know at that meet in montreal had something to do with it. its going to show up eventualy, theres no way it ended up in a chop shop, someone wanted it.
there was a big bust in the summer last year, a couple guys from windsor were steeling local cars and shipping them to montreal, i realy can believe people have nothing better to do, they had stolen like 50 cars, mostly brand new ones.
around the same time by buddies brother had his mint chameleon e36 m3 stolen, he had it in the auto trader for a couple months, then it got stolen, unbelievable...insurance donesnt cover $7000 paint jobs.
thats my 2 cents, BTW what exactly is a boomerag?

man this shit pisses me off. the car was stolen to be stripped, that car is too high maintenancec and would be noticed in a matter of hours, especially in Montreal. The person who stole it must have been experienced and known the car was in Montreal. Prollie strippeed it and sold the parts on the net, did you look out for anything firmiliar being sold on ebay/forums?

also, Randy did you have to get it appraisedd in order to get replacement value. I had to get my M3 appraised to get replacement value insurance. How else do they determine replacement value? Based on the market and the trader?

Randy, i admired your car, and just wanted to apologize too. It sucks even though you got other projects going on. Hope everything works out, and try to think that things happen for a reason (usually the work for the better too.)

WOW! I had no idea that had happened! right know im speechless, i dont know what to say! What really pisses me off is that i didnt even get to see the car! This must be the worst thing to happen to you!
All I know is that even if they were to steal my e28, i would cry my eyes out, and go on a killing spree!
I can almost gurantee you that it was osmeone who knew that you were going to be there, and had followed you, or had someone tell them the exact location of ur car....
Hell, it could have been someone from this board.....***Evil Laugh***j/p
Hope it went well for you!

Randy, I'm so sorry to have heard this news. It must be a stab in the heart to be violated in a way such as this. You know every last one of us hopes that your car will return to you, in every bit of glory she had the day she left. However I think this far out, its unlikely she will be seen again.
I understand your choice in not telling everyone, but seriously, i consider it a very poor decision. Had you released the information to the forums, you could have had thousands of people looking on eBay, and locally for parts of your car, granted its a small chance, but a extra one none the less.
Again, sorry to hear this news
