Realistic arcade driving game...

I was at Dave and Busters yesterday, I played Ferrari F355 Challenge in Simulator mode. Holy crap this is probably the most realistic car game I've ever tried. Like rev matching and heel-toeing are practically necessary. The clutch can be modulated and everything. The only thing I didn't like was the shifter, too easy to misshift, the gates weren't long enough.

Is there anything this realistic for console or computer?

I love that game! My name (BMW) is on the top score list for numerous tracks both at D&B and Playdium. I kill at every track on that game. I have yet to find another arcade game out there that is comparible.

The 355 CHALLENGE is a great game but its not THAT realistic, you don't even need the clutch to switch gears, you can use the clutch or just switch and it works either way, and there is something MORE realistic for PC that i seen one time, and its like the SHELL of a F1 car, and you sit in it just as you would in a real F1 but i dunno how the gameplay is, apperently is AMAZING, but i've never seen it!

Yeah, I totally love that game. My friend showed me that game like 2-3 years ago.
Everytime I go to Playdium that's the first game I play. IT's too bad that it won't allow all 4 players to play at the same time, that's what took out the excitment factor but other than that I love that game.

Most realistic game I've played, though if they added some more steering feedback/vibration and g-force effect that'd be even better.

Yeah true, but if you don't use the clutch from 1st to 2nd (from 1st at redline), you just end up burning rubber in second, especially if your on the grass for no reason

And how how do revmatch and heel-toe without the clutch, that just unsettles the car entering the corners (i know, i know, it's only a video game)
