So i changed the drive tensioner pulley since it was effed,,,,and the noice still persists. I found that my idler pulley is spinning to freely as well, does anyone know if the idler pully can be making this noise?

there is two pulleys. one on the tensioner and one that is an idler. if you only changed the one on the tensioner then the idler pulley is the culprit. Or it could also be your steering pump, water pump, alternator, AC condenser, all of them have bearings.

Changed the Idler, now it sounds even worse...A whistle/screeching.....how is this possible? does this mean the alternator/ac/or water pump are ****ed since the tension is back to normal b/c of the new idler n tensioner pully? Any body else ever have this prblem....starting to get irritating

How old are these belts? Rubber compount in these belts deteriorates and over time they become very hard. Try new belts man.. i think its in the area of 50$ for both

I have not changed the belts since i bought the car about 2 years ago now. Im not sure if the previous owner did. But in all seriousness i dont think that the belts would make that much noise?
