If you're looking for bodywork, check out JR Autobody on Jamie street (just south of hunt club and merviale).

Make sure to check out their showroom - you'll be impressed

Tell them Shawn, a friend of Fadi & Mike sent you.

Hell, If the hail was any bigger yesterday I would need some body work too... Thank god!

Took my E30 to Carling Canadian Tire and had them replace the left front wheel bearing and outer ball joint. Arrived, spoke to Bob, had George replace it and was out on the road again in $240 and 2 hours.

I had another great experience at Metric auto this week. Tuesday on my way home the mechanical exploded like a grenade and impaled two pieces into the radiator and also shattered the shroud. I didn't have the patience to deal with it this time so I had it towed to Metric.
Ian said he would have had it done the next day but the fan shroud wasn't in stock. He still had it ready on Thursday for me. $1200 its back to me. I could have done it for $400ish myself but I didn't want to deal with it.

Two thumbs up for Metric again!

Oh and again this time there was an Audio up on his lift. Last time I was there it was an A4 with a blown engine, LOL. I'm OK with just some cooling system issues.

so just to update about my steering shake on pg2-3..

got a good proper alignment from a ex-bmw tech, shims were involved.
got my guibdo replaced, was all dry & cracked - that helped abit..

But what completely removed the violent shaking at speeds, are you ready;
brake rotors... the uuc slotted i had looked ok & had low milage from being in out of various shops, sitting for months, etc.. but there was some warpage..

lol..right

Any recommendations specifically to get headers and a clutch installed? I have/will be supplying ALL parts. (Yes, including the general wear/maintenance parts that 'might as well' be done when in there.)

'96 E36 if that helps anyone so far as experience of specific shops.

From what I've read so far, I'm leaning to Autovation or Young Street Garage. Of course one major factor will be the quoted prices too.

Thanks,

Ed.
