I purchased this car with the intent to restore it to showroom condition, and I've made excellent progress toward that goal with an extensive paint restoration along with numerous other improvements.

Though I will someday have another E34 M5 (hopefully as nice as this one) in my stable I'm selling this car to pursue an E30 M3 while they're still within reasonable reach.

I've had this car listed on trader.ca for a few weeks and have had considerable interest in it, but recent business travel caused scheduling difficulties which resulted in leads going stale.

I'm motivated for a quick sale, and I'm prepared to offer a very attractive firm price to that end. Please private message me for details.

Either i'm blind or you didn't state it, is it a 3.8L or 3.6?

Its a 3.6. 3.8s didn't come until 92-93... plus you can see it in the pics, 3.8 cam cover looks very different

You sure know your S38: the 3.6 camshaft cover (at the front of the motor) is black, whereas the 3.8 is silver.

I've received a lot of interest in this car from this thread, and hopefully I'll hear good news from a potential buyer tonight. This car is a steal at the price I'm offering it at right now.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

Wink

The first serious buyer that turns up for an inspection in person will be buying then driving this beautiful car away with a huge smile on their face - without even having to haggle over the price.

Thanks for the bumps and comments everyone!

So how does "glanzschwartz" compare to regular schwartz? Is it a metallic? I assume clear coats are what causes the gloss, maybe I'm wrong. Want more info on this color!

Free bump for you. Very clean car, which M3 do you have your eye one?

It's absolutely jet black (non metallic).

None right now, unfortunately, as both of the cars I've been interested in lately haven't worked out.

Thanks for the bump!
