E3 Bavaria - 3.0 si question!

As hard as I tried finding this info I couldn't because different online sources tell me rather different things.

Statements/facts

1. I own a 72 Bavaria and a 75 3.0 si.
2. Both of these cars run the m30.
3. 72 Bavaria came with the 3.0 so both cars have a 3 litre m30 except the 75 is fuel injected.
4. Bavaria was built on the 2500 chassis so it was lighter than the 75 3.0 si.

Questions

1. Does the 72 Bavaria m30 have more horses or are they both 192? Some sources indicate 172 for the 3.0 si and some 192. Also it shows that the 3.0 si e3 has a better 0-60 when that can't make sense because it was the heavier chassis. If they indeed did have different amounts of hp, how does the bav m30 differ from the 3.0 si m30? One site showed me that the 3.0 si had more displacement than the bav but less horses, how does that work?

Can someone be so kind as to clarify this for me as I need to know which engine to transplant into which car and or if I even need to.

the 72 bav came with dual carbs and mechanical points, while the 75 3.0si came with fuel injection and L-jet motronics(?) which IMO will provide more hp because of that.

Just curious if you or anyone managed to pick up that '72(ithink) that was on kijiji for $200? Emailed the seller but no response.

That only makes sense, but specs indicate otherwise. I'll have the pictures up on this coming Sunday when they are both on my driveway =D. I need to clean them up for the 'before' pictures!

Yah, that car is about 1.5 hours north of Guelph, but I still bought it =P. I'm picking it up this Saturday.
