With a 12,500 asking price, the will probably take 11,500. My guess is they paid about 8000. I would have paid 8K, based on year and kms.

This car was sold at auction for $8,750 + 23% auction fees + registration fees. It was purchased by a yonge guy that was there with his dad.
My guess is they backed out of the deal after having this car ispected.
From what I could tell while I was down there, the car was throwing some engine codes and had some trouble starting up. Also looked like it was towed in.

Was considering going to see if it'll sell for a reasonable price. I guess it didn't.9K plus taxes is wayy to much for an auction car.

Yea, way too much. You can find e39s for that price on the regular market. I thought maybe at a police auction these would go for 3-4k.

Dogfight for nothing. That car looks to me as if it was smacked up on the front. The hood is off, or it is poped up ?
