Be interesting to see their wear ratings. Was thinking about the kevlar component. Kevlar is stronger and lighter than steel, so I would imagine they are long-life or high temp pads. But @ same time; when you brake, something wears; the pads or the disks... I'd prefer the pads; cheaper and easier to replace.... so there may be a downside to the kevlar....
