the numbers are very close with the gt. so, i imagine the new boss 302 would walk away from the m3. i'd wager that the laguna seca version of the boss 302 would blow the bimmer into the proverbial weeds.
yes, i'd still like the m3, but damn...!

So you're going to tell everyone that you see with a new M3 that they should have bought a new mustang lol?
The Mustang and the M3 cater to completely different audiences

The understeering was the crux... also, the tires & wheels.
Still, quite impressive.

^^Nope^^
It doesn't surprise me at all. I've been so impressed with Ford since the first of this generation Mustang in '05. i really don't care if it has a live rear axle, they handle amazingly for a muscle car and for a ford. They feel very much like an e36 in terms of driving 'feel' yet the performance is so much more. Then Ford broke the mold again with the 2011 model and the new 5.0. I would buy one in a heartbeat over any of the new offerings from BMW, and then taking into effect the price advantage, and there you go.

Then you've not driven one..............
Who cares about labels, go drive one and tell me you're not blown away by Fords achievement here.

If only Ford would improve the interior. Personally i would get a mustang as with the new rear suspension its 100% better. But in comparison with M3 that interior would simply lose it for it.

one thing u guys forgot. Reliability of the mustang compared to M3 which one would go longer with out braking or blowing up.
