I wondered the same thing originally, but I read that thread and there was a father and son walking down the street who saw him do it. The dad created an account on that forum and said if I see you speeding again, I'll report you myself. The cops then created an account there after they were tipped off, I'm sure they got in touch with that witness.

There is lots of cases of crimes popping up being solved via FB,Forums, and other popular online social networks. I would not be surprised if this was true

Yea but you can use that as a he/she said this blah blah. The should have plead not guilty. No evidence to prove the wrong doing and walked away with nothing to worry about, and just make sure you never do that same crap again.
