Thumbs up Gixxer Powered Go-Cart!

Well, now I've seen it all.

A hand built Go-Cart, powered by the Suzuki GSX-R 1100 engine!

Now Randy, don't get any bright idea's....

sweet!!! That thing must take your breath away when accelerating!

I've been wanting to slap a motorcycle engine to my go-kart for the longest time. Whenever I go into the go-kart shop for new rims or tires, I see their motorcycle powered gokarts and I just go gaga over them. The exhaust they have on them is sooo sweet too, it curves around the engine sooo nicely.

I got mine used from the shop for about $400
it's 15HP (i thought it was 10 but i just checked last night)
It's the same kind that they use professionally at the track, but with a lesser engine. It has all the neat stuff like disc brakes, remote starter, tub chassis, racing body kit (which i removed to save weight), light weight rims, and slicks (kinda like the slicks you see on indy cars but smaller)

The guys at the shop with the nice engines have clutches and can shift gears which is awsome, I'm alway stuck in one gear, which isn't bad, but you can't do a burnout easily =)

Maybe I can take some pics when the weather clears up
