E30 wiper motor linkages

Can these parts be dissembled apart from the motor. Mine looks twisted and the wiper motor is still good; just wondering if it can be replaced instead of buying a motor with it.

yes it can. 3 bolts hold the motor to the frame and 1 holds it to the regulating arm. I just removed one from my car. :-)

well mine all i can see is that there is the linkage and the connector ball thingy that around it. Well obviously I got this problem because the linkage doesn't hold the ball thingy everytime I use the wipers; ball thingy comes off the linkage. Then I have to use two screw drivers to put it back in and if I lucky the linkage doesnt come off the ball thingy "BUT IT DOES EVERYTIME" LOLZ

You can't get the motor out of the vent hole..ain't gonna happen. You have to remove the metal shield in behind the rocker cover/engine against the fire wall first. Then you have to take the blower motor assembly out. ONLY then you might have small enough hands to get to the 3 bolts holding the motor on the linkage to get the motor out through the blower motor access. I have never tried what you are trying but then again, what the heck! To make the job easier I would pop one of the arms off the linkage and then you can wiggle the assbly out after you remove the wipers/arms and the hold down nuts at the wiper arm pins.

I've pulled about 3 of these and it has been this way every time.

Btw, your motor is most likely toast. if it is doing that. But you'll be able test it once out.
