Ive walked right up to a bear out in the Yukon. Mind you it was only a black bear. It was dusk and I did not even see the sucker till I was 15 or 20 feet away from it.
Scared the crap out of me but the bear did not give a damn I was there. So I started to walk another way back to my tent and boom, same bear walks right by in front of me.
Needless to say I was tired of seeing bears that day.
