Drive shaft/flex disk issues.

So at the start of the year , I wrote of the flex disk in my drive line. It made a clicking/knocking noise, so I replaced it. Days after, 2 bolts that go from the disk into the tranny came lose and fell out.

I replaced them with bolts of the same specs from brafasco, with new nuts. My problem is they keep coming lose, making it knock. I've tightened them with thread lock, but after a quick cruise they'll break off again.

Any ideas?

Strange, get lock nuts or lock washers, tighten them down.

Get high grade.

^ What he said... Also, was the driveline altered recently? Any complication with the angle of the driveshaft could cause the guibo to go bad prematurely.

The drive shaft is from a e36 328i. I have the m30 motor. It was fine before I replaced flex disk, and don't see how it couldn't still be balanced. I got some
locking nuts, and will try them tonight.

Guibo??

The guibo is the flex disk.

The bolts should be high grade and new nylon locking nuts are key. Torque them in a pattern just like you would on a wheel, crossing the guibo as you tighten.
