golf tee mod

i was just wondering if the "golf tee mod" would interfere with an E-test?

I really doubt it. Most people that replace their mufflers have to plug the cacuum line and I haven't heard of anyone failing just because of the mod.

you plug a vacuum line (with a golf tee) that actuates a butterfly valve who's purpose is to close off one of the 2 exhaust outlets to keep the car quieter at low revs. Wasn't on the e30's.

e36 mod...won't effect e-test as it only alters air flow and sound.

if you modify the cats and o2 sensors, then you will mess with e-test results.
