hanging out with Ak47's?...the reporter was doing a article about militias in the area with tides with the taliban.He was suppose to meet a leader of one of the groups for a interview.You can clearly see two of the so call "protection" wasnt concern that part of the leader's group was aiming weapons at US troops heading in their directions.US must have intercepted phone calls and had the helos scramble to see where the leader was...they found them....CBC reported that the reporter was meeting with a old friend,then why did he bring body guards if the guy was a friend?.

As for that video, YOU CLEARLY see militants peeking around the corner of a building with what looks like to be a weapon. The way he peeked around that corner definately looked suspicious. Youre in the ****ing red zone, you know there are helicopters around, the smartest thing to do is walk around with weapons in civilian clothing... give me a break.
AND, by the way, you can clearly see an AK 47 on one of the guys.
You do realize no one here can say anything about this video. We have not stepped one foot in the soldier's shoes in order to liberate that corrupted country along with Afghanistan. I feel bad about the innocent people, but you shouldn't be walking around with leaders and such who have weapons to begin with , especially when you know that the USAF is patrolling the area. One guy did look to have an RPG and 2 others with AK-47's. The reporters made some bad decisions about meeting up with such people.
Like I said, step foot into the soldier's shoes and what he has to do everyday in that country where people all where civvy clothing and some people just pop out with guns and kill your buddy next to you. You have to get permission before you can engage the bad guy. It ain't like it's WW2 where you could shoot the enemy and be done, now there's laws.
