newbie q&a re bmw power:best car for 550hp

I'm new to bimmer. just looking for my first ride.
I've been driving chipped 300-400 hp turbo cars for about 10 years.

Looking for 500-600hp.
What is best bmw for this? prefer 3 series size.
supercharged or turbo?

Lolol. This should be good.

More like a 335i with some 5-figures in mods.

500+ doesn't come easy in BMWs unless you're buying a new F10 M5 or new M6.

335 will do it... With some cash and a Vishnu single turbo kit.

E46 M3 or E39 M5 with a ESS kit.

I think the real question here should be what DO YOU want, and how much are you ready to spend!

When you have deep pockets, you can go buy an M5/M6, or a blown M3, or OR get something crazy build like a V10 E30!!! The sky is the limit of what can be done, the only limiting factor for most people is $$$. So if you have the money, it comes down to what you want in a car. HP is just a #, what car its in makes all the difference.

I think OP may have given up since his last login was on May 1st.

But I still think an E60 M5 is the best car to start with given OP's criteria because it's similar in size to an E9X.
