Anyone plans to rustproof their car for this winter?

Anyone planning on rustproofing their car for this winter?

I'm thinking about 3 options.

Krown
3M Rubberized Undercoating, professional grade
Wurth SKS, which apparently is the OEM undercoating used.

I'm leaning towards Krown because they spray everywhere and E39s like to collect water under doors, so might be a better idea to go with Krown. Their stuff (T40) also creeps into seams and cracks.
I'll ask them not to spray the engine bay if I go this route.

Any thoughts?

I like Krown. They tend not to remember to not spray under the hood when I ask though, so my car will have a GIANT ****ING SIGN under hood that will say "If you spray under this hood, you'll clean the entire engine with cotton baby diapers before you go home tonight."

They say you should still rust proof the car even if it's not being winter driven. I'm not sur ehow much stock I put in that but it sure wouldn't hurt.

Thanks for reply everyone. I used Rust Check (I bought the can from Canadian Tire) on my E36 2 years ago and the rubber gasket on the side skirt got wrinkled/swollen, so I'm kinda iffy about that.

Where is a good palce to get Krown?

I used Krown on Catherine, but this year I'm going to try the one on Woodroffe south of the college.

I assume you are talking about Cotter's bodyshop? I've been there to buy some Krown stuff before, I did't see any hoist though. Maybe they have one in the back or something.

Must be, I've never been there, so I wouldn't know. I'm unsure if the Catherine St. Krown hoisted my car or not.. I suspect not.

So, you did it yourself and you think it's the product? How old was the car when you did it?
