M badge is perfectly fine as many cars in Europe got the badge as part of the M package on non-M cars.
I had 325e with M package and had original badge on the grills.

Yeah, looks like 17s. with small ass tires... 205/40?

The rims look like a cross between Motoforms and Azev rims. Beats me though.

Dude, stop talking nonsense.

M-tech I was for pre-facelift cars (1987 and older with small lights), Mtech-II came out with the facelift and larger rear lights in 88.

Kinda looks like a late model car, has the bigger section on the rear panel under the gas door but could just be looking like that from the pic

I like them but something about the centre is almost "bubbly" in a way. I would sport them. And yeah those are 17"
