1986 M535i

Sorry about the Metric to US conversion but I copy and pasted off a US ad I posted on Mye28.com.

Its sad but it's true. My 86 M535i is for sale.I have put 43,130 miles on it in the last 8 years of ownership It's time to move onto something different and for someone else to enjoy it as much as I did.The car is very well known in the Mye28.com community and in the Eastern United States.I have a history of repair bills dating back to May 26th,1995 from Germany. I bought the car on July 2nd 2002 when it was imported from Germany. Its been run on 93 and 94 octane gas since I have owned it.Stored during winter. The car has never broken down on me in all the trips I have taken except for one main relay blowing last year on the way to V@V. I also have the computer required to talk to the ECU if you ever have to add a cat with an O2 sensor. It has won numerous awards and was best E28 at 2006,5er Fest in South Bend Indiana. The car has original paint and I do not want to repaint the car. There are no clear coat issues with the car.

Gorgeous car, I hope it will go to a good home that it will receive the same care it has enjoyed for the past 8 years.

Ted, are you getting a new car?

Shameless bump from page 7. Car is out of storage with a fresh oil and filter change plus a new battery. Price is still the same at $14,000 Canadian or best offer. One of only 4 M535i's that are in this very good condition in North America. Cheers. Car now has E39 style 5's non-staggered rims on it.Ted

Nope. Perhaps because i'm 56 years old they didn't bother. When I went to car shows in the USA i'd forget to put the Ontario plates back on the front and not even the customs officers said anything. Once I got home I realized they wern't on. Put them on after.

well we are 31, but then again the YR cops think they are superior to everyone.

Glad to see you are still, and will probably stay in the BMW community.

p.s. your car (avatar) aint an e28 anymore....
