Red face Battery in GTA?

Hi Guys

New here and I have had a 04 BMW X5 3.0i for about 3 years now just love the car to death. Excellent in the wintertime and lots of fun in the summer too, I live in Brampton so naturally the only place I can go to get parts is BMW of Mississauga these guys are a bunch of thieves. They wanted $23 for 1 spark plug. Said if I put anything else in the engine it would damage it, ended up getting the right NGK ones and did it myself.

Now my car is about the hit 7 years old and at this point I really want to change my battery, it still cranks fine but I want the peace of mind it wont leave me stranded somewhere.

Where do you guys go to get a battery from??

Thanks

Maranello BMW has good parts prices even though I'm sure it's the same owner as BMW Mississauga.

Why not check the battery price there? You can usually tell that a battery is going a few weeks before it does, or get a load test. No need to change it just based on age.

Your right 100% it still cranks like the first day I got it, the light is still green on the battery too. I heard a horror story about a friend who drives a 325i and had the battery randomly die. I'll give Maranello BMW a call in the morning, I have lost all faith in BMW dealers, its like the SA and everyone there look down on you, like it some kind of honor they are letting me drive a BMW. What are some symptoms of a bad battery?

@RMP Thanks I have heard alot of good reviews about you guys and Bimmersport. Knock on wood I have had zero problems with my X5. But I will keep you guys in the back of my head. BTW are you guys located near European Autobody?

RMP changed both of my car's battery, one a few weeks ago (dead battery); the other one. still good but its 7 years so changed it this past Tuesday for peace of mind(wife's car) .. at a better price.. Maranello's price quote was still too high after discount..

Go to RMP.
