I'm extremely curious to know what the exchange of words was like between the two drivers once they got off the track.....

Silver Car: Hey, what are you doing on the wall and what happened to your car?
Yellow car: Some a-hole that shouldn't be driving a lawn mower spun me out!
SC: Did you happen to see who it was?
YC: Yeah, some douchebag that decides to stop in the middle of the race to talk to another driver.
SC: Doh!
These guys should come to the BMW race school and learn how to drive 50 feet from each other.

ya really, he pulls over right before the checkered flag?
Kurt was clearly at fault there, should have let off.
Also I didn't know you went to new zealand??? AND put stupid stickers on your car?

When people challenge me, I bump them. Into the wall. Unfortunately it didn't go as planned this time.
I'm pretty sure my brake lines failed, which caused the accident. We clearly weren't touching eachother at all.

Must have been caused by those unchanged braided brake lines

Can you suggest to the trillium club board to introduce something like OPEN racing in NZ. After watching that video, read their regulations and it looks like a very interesting race series.

Sorry Kurt

... Not laughing at your suggestion.
It's BMWCCA that makes the "racing" rules.

No worries. I wouldn't count on anything like that being introduced.
Better off in the regionals.

Looks like I should have quite a few updates this week as I have a lot of time to get some work done!
Today I started by re-painting the inside of the car. I sprayed it last season but it's impossible to keep clean and started looking pretty ugly after a short while. So Im going with the roll on Tremclad. Looks great. High gloss and much smoother.
It got too dark before I could finish. I still need to finish the trunk and might as well do a second coat.
