On the rear sub-frame - it looks like you didn't weld the sway-bar tabs. I'd HIGHLY recommend this. They get bent even with stock sway bars...

Yeah I needed to get the subframe in before I could get around to doing that.

I'm going to have that done when the cage is built and so on. Going to get all the welding needed done at the same time.

Alright progress has been a little slow lately.

I was finishing up all my wiring. Pretty much all the wiring is removed except for essentials. So I got the dash in for now, steering wheel and hub.




Now I'm cutting out the inside of the doors, and making a new mechanism for opening the doors.

I'll post more "better" pics tomorrow.

is that oem glass? because i got mine for 150 installed but it was an aftermarket one.

Who did you have do it? Looking to get this one fixed from my unfortunate hood accident lol.

Any window for less than 300 I would bet money on is not OEM. Plus the window gaskets on the cheaper aftermarket windows looks like poop.

Small update:

Reiger splitter installed:

Cut out the doors. Not necessarily for weight reduction but just more room:
I used some insulated steel cable as a pull cable to open the door.




So next major things on the list include:

-Install Euro oil filter housing and oil cooler
-OBD1 conversion
-Install a second fuel pump
-Cage
-E46 M3 midpipe
-Some sort of functional wing
-Seats and other safety
-Suspension (coilovers, adjustable rear control arms, bimmerworld eyeball fcab's, poly tranny mounts)

That's just about whats left. All the expensive stuff
