QFT...I have done both, an 24v swap is a cakewalk in comparison to a turbo build.

i bought one of those kits for my e30 and i at least added on 2k on top for mis expences exhaust, injectors, gauges, tuning,,,and so many more misalanius things that i cant even remember,,,,,,,
to be honest wit u if i was to do it again i would peice a kit together wit higher quality parts ,,cause that kit conside of a bunch of ebay parts ,,,,,one thing i learned was u get what u pay for
so in my opinion do ur research to figure out what kinda gains u want with what budget and that goes hand in hand and then start building ur kit
good luck wit the build

with no disrespect... but if i can beat the 2.4l cav with a real driver... and most civics with my pretty much stock 318i with an ebay chip. maybe you should learn more about launching and shift timing before adding more power. i just find that in most situations if the cars are pretty much equal in power/weight ratio.. its down to the driver.
other than that... good luck with your build. if you want i have the maximum boost book by corky bell as a pdf if you would like more info regarding turbo builds

I haven't driven my 325iS yet. So about me being a bad driver, you are mistaken. I'm sure the m20b25 engine will do well against any Cav but I just want to have more fun. Not looking at putting 10+ psi, just something moderate that will spin the wheels more and just overall have some more kick. Thats the only reason why I looked at this "ebay" kit. But I will adhear to the advice and just piece together a kit instead.

LOL I think I remember that!
I'd be on the fence on that too, I wanna see a chipped m42e30 VS a B16 power'd bubbleback. My monies would be on the honduh, sorry

Instead of going FI because it seems like you definitely haven't done your homework into it, how about an s52 swap? Tons of power in the e30 chassis, oem reliability and NA power > turbo all day.
