Thanks, I haven't opened it up and probably won't get a chance to. I am pretty confident it was the chain guides... Not sure what else it could have been.

Should I be concerned? would hate to see you run off without taking care of all the loose ends.

OMG OMG OMG Don't buy from me I am a scammer.. I totally disclosed this car had burnt to a crisp and I am trying to sell it! I even have documented pictures and videos of everything I have done to it.. Don't buy it!!!

For anyone else interested in the car:

Now has an AUX fan wired up, O2 sensor has been relocated to a better position for better idling. Still needs a hood release cable from what i understand. Has been documented to burn a quart of oil every 1500km's or so.. But still runs strong.

If anyone is interested my friend (and fellow max member) back home has been driving it daily as he has needed a car to drive. He can arrange a viewing if interested. I cannot bring this car to TX as the roads would destroy it and have no place to store it either.

$6200...

*Please note any talk of me being a horrible seller or potential scammer will be reported to the mods. If you are serious and have a concern, have the car inspected first, it's that simple. Otherwise have a look at all the pics and vids of the car from before to after.

I've known chris for a long time, as have many other people on these boards. He's not a scammer, and he isn't going anywhere. (figuratively at least, i think he's already moved)

LOL. It does burn some oil, not sure if it is a full quart but it definitely needs to be topped off once between oil changes. It doesn't blow all kinds of smoke or anything. But I won't lie the car is driven spiritedly and loves the Bimmercruises etc.

Really tho, we're talking about a car that should be getting an S52 another swap to compliment the rest of the car! With that said, the current engine still runs strong i assure you that and even if you left it alone it would last for a while yet.
