Parts... source?
I usually order my parts from us and get it shipped to me from there. I unfortunately cannot do that anymore so was wondering where is the best place to order parts from us or from Canada with a good price.
e.g a plastic seat cover in Canada is 97 dollars... in us its 39 dollars.

I order my parts from autopartsway.ca and/or bimmerspecialist.com
Bimmerspecialist tends to have a better selection because they have warehouses in the states, but delivery times are longer than autopartsway. Autopartsway is also good becuase if your order is >$75 shipping is free, and it's usually pretty easy to buy $75 worth of parts

The majority of my BMW parts were purchased from Pelican Parts. They ship to my house Via USPS or to Can-Am Mail Box Rentals in Niagra Falls.

I use Autopartsway.ca when I can.

Pelican or Turner Motorsports are my 2 first choices. They compete against each other and yet Peilcan sells TMS specifialty parts. North American Motorsports is good for aftermaket body kits and accessories. Found a new body kits store in Toronto yesterday and bought a new lip spoiler from them. Intitial fitment was EXCELLENT; so much so that I could just paint, but with a TINY bit of work it will be OEM fitment. Very pleased. They're called Extremeparts.ca and owner is Gino.

I prefer Bimmerworld for all racing and aftermarket parts.
But for OEM kinda stuff, Autopartsway.ca hand down.

I just send an e-mail to jared@eactuning.com
Prices are great and if you hit on one of the specials, then all the better. Though he's been really slow to respond the last 2 weeks...

they don't ding you for shipping but their cost is 10-15% higher then bimmerspecialist.com. and autopartsway doesn't carry as good selection of oem.
In the end, one has to shop around and combine to see which is gives the best savings.
Yes, Pelican parts doesn't ding you for taxes and duty. it's customs which hits you for this through UPS. That's why people ship to a postal Box south of border and the drive back.
