What part of the city? And how far are you willing to drive?
Duss Bros
Autovation
There's a pretty good place in Manotick too but the name escapes me...

Autobahn is the place in Manotick, but it's hard to get in.
Duss Brothers can be pricey, but their reputation is excellent. And I say this depite a personal hate-on for them.

You can certainly check out Turbo Ready Performance near Bank & Hunt Club.

Duss (apparently pronounced dooss, as I learned this weekend) do great work, are meticulous and treat me like a total c0ck everytime I step foot in their place. I suspect they're used to dealing with people who know nothing, and I know more than nothing. He continually tries to "call my bluff" on everything.
Autovation is the only shop to have touched my E30, for a clutch. They did a superb job.
edit: OF COURSE if you can stand a short drive, Kerry Burke in Buckingham will treat you really well. We had a tech session this weekend where he inspected my E30 and really helped me out. I didn't initially mention him because he's out of the way a little bit, but his rates are much better than Ottawa shops.

Duss Brothers are excellent in what they do. Although they charge you pretty close to what a dealer might charge, he has about 35 years experience just with BMWs.
Be careful dealing with that Euro parts junkyard in Gatineau, their prices are usually about 75%-80% of a new parts price.

Work is amazing at Duss Brothers, But I avoid that place at all costs!
Now I have a guy that gives me OEM parts at wholesale, and I have a BMW mechanic that comes to my house and fix's whatever problem I got.
All of a sudden I'm paying Honda maintenance money on a Bimmer.
