E46 How to change side marker and front corner lights
Hey guys, i used to have a E36 and changing the side marker and front corner lights was easy.
I have an E46, 2004 330Ci for a few years and i have the clear glass but yellow bulbs for the front corner and side marker lights. I want to change these bulbs to white. For the side marker i moved the side marker to the side and then it popped out, then i unclipped the wires, but then it seems i can't change the light bulb, seems like it is part of the entire side marker piece. Can i change the bulb or do i have to buy a complete new side marker? If i can change the bulb, how???
For the front corner lights for signalling, how do i change these? I believe i see a wire and connector that i believe is for the corner lights, but not sure. Any hints or tips or how to do. Thanks.

there should be a screw near the light that you have to loosen. once it is lose, the light should slide out. but dont loosen it too much. the screw is number 2 in the top diagram. As for the side marker bulb, you just pull it out

guys, so far i only tried the side markers, but as i originally tried, once i disconnect the wire from the side markers, it seems like the side marker is one piece and the bulb is inside, can't get to the bulb. seems like i gotta change the entire marker. The marker is clear but orange bulb, i want to change the bulb only.
i have a 2004 330ci, the side markers aren't the rectangular shape, they are the more triangular shape that come with the car.
as for the front corner signal, it seems as though it is one piece with the head light, do i still follow the same procedures as above with the screw driver, anyone know.

The side markers you just have to slide them to the left or right (whichever way they move) then pull them out.. simple.
Front corner indicators you have to use a screw driver or thin stick to pop them out. You just compress on the little plastic lip/flange and you should be able to wiggle the whole light out. Pretty easy.
When you open the hood you can see a black circle/hole which you would think has a screw, it doesn't.. just press really hard onto that plastic clip and pull the lense out!
use a flashlight to see what I'm talking about.
this probably didn't help you at all hah
