window problem

Hey guys, I need some help with my problem on my e36. The car is a 94 318i. Last year when I was leaving work I realized that none of the windows are working. So I began dreading the idea of having to take off all the door panels to inspect the regulators and such.

However, my problem seems to be that it is very unusual for all the regulators to stop working at the same time. I have checked all the fuses and they are all good except my seat heater. I have also replaced all the window switches. But now I realized that the comfort relay could be the problem, but I don't know how to test it. Any suggestions or help will be appreciated. Or if there is anyone that can let me swap their relay

Ok so my car doesn't even have a comfort relay because they stopped putting it in 94. Come on guys help me out this is driving me crazy

ps is your dome light working? fuse #43.

For all the of the fuses that may have to do with the dome light, power door locks, power windows, take them out use an ohmeter on them, there should be next to no resistance on any of them. I've had my fuel and engine temp lights drop on me one day and all fuses looked great, after replacing it just for the heck of it i got it all back and the fuse looked fine even with close inspection. weird but i guess it can happen

My window lift fuses are fine (both front and rears).

A while ago I recovered my headliner and switched all the interior pieces to the black ones from the stock grey ones. So I think the new dome light I put in is from a newer model or something, so it's blowing fuses.

Today, I replaced my dome light with my old one and it turned on but this was while the fuse was still blown, because I didn't have a replacement. I think there is some kind of short there. But could the dome light not working cause my windows to stop working? I guess now I need someone to sell me a few fuses for the dome light.
