starter kit?
replacing the starter, anyone know of a kit I can get? do I even need one? are there any gaskets or seals I should know about?

If you find it necessary to pull the intake manifold off to get the starter off easier, you could replace the upper intake manifold gasket.

ahhh werent we talking about the joys of replacing a starter like 2 weeks ago.. LOL i havent installed the rebuilt one i got because i want to get new bolts but there were 4 metal shim like pieces that popped off 2 per bolt what are these for anyone know?????

I would. Or replace them with similarly sized washers if you have some new ones laying around.
