Just ordered three things...dual vanos, valve cover gasket kit, and the seal washers.
Express shipping 3-5 days is 75 u.s. but I really need it to be done fast.

Overall was 533$

Much better unit for cheaper, compared to 1050 + tax from BMW

Just curious. Did you consider just replacing the vanos seals instead of replacing the complete vanos, or was it completely screwed?

Yeah i considered changing the seals... but the car won't not start because of seals.
The new vanos comes with the upgraded seals

Euro: Because i changed the 2 sensors, and nothing. And the code said vanos exhaust blocked, so he opened it and theres oil and its clogged from the "late bmw oil changes"..
I saw the car, I'm pretty sure with the new vanos it will work fine.

Anything can be cleaned, its just a matter of weather you have the technician who would tell you, you need a new caliper vs the tech who with take the extra time, take apart the caliper and service it and save you money. I've always been around good technicians, and honestly i would have tried to clean out your old unit before telling you to fork out 550 for a new one. I'm just trying to say find a tech who treats you like family.

I understand but overall I think the drvanos ones are 10x better, and i would have to do the seals anyways as well.
