Car not starting

So after being excited about installing some goodies yesterday including new angel eyes, i try to start the car today in the morning and it wont turn on.
Its turning normally but just wont start.

However i have had this problem happen about like 5 times in the last year and a half randomly... but somehow after enough turning it would just start ...

I think this is mostly likely the Vanos (iv been driving around with he check engine light which said that...but the car was still turning on pretty normally)

I was going to order the Beisan stuff to do it but never got around to it.

Is it very possible my car isnt turning on because of this?

Or should i replace the camshaft/crankshaft sensors? Has anyone done the camshaft sensors replacement?

Not likely at all that it is the VANOS, but it could be the camshaft sensors. Or something else.

If it is one of those sensors then you should have a CEL for them. If you have had this issue in the past and the car would start after lots of turning over... I would recommend trying to turn your key on (but not to the start position).. wait 3 seconds (for the fuel pump to prime) then turn off, repeat this 3 times in a row and then try to start the car on the 4th turn. If it starts then fuel pressure is your issue and you will need to replace your pump.

Vanos will not cause your car to not start...

you need to check the basics first... check for fuel and spark.

Get it scanned before you start throwing parts at it.

I think your ground somewhere is not ok.
If you were messing with electrical stuff then it sounds more likely.
Maybe you should leave it overnight with the ecu unplugged and then run it so it has reset.
I doubt its the vanos though and CEL is a very good point too!

Notorious, i checked a while ago it was codes 102 and 104 when check engine was on (and still is on) for blocked vanos and something else camshaft. . .
Anyone live around etobicoke that could come check it out for me? I'm not really good with the electrical stuff..

What is CEL btw?

If you had a code for something Camshaft related then sounds like you may have a bad sensor then. Not hard to replace. But again, double check the codes to make sure you know exactly what you need to replace!

Change the exhaust one... car still does not start.

Still have the intake one to do but seems like an annoyance, i don't even have the 32mm
Unless anyone else has done the intake one before?

Just changed out intake sensor and car still wont start... ****!

I will try to get mechanic to come with the computer to reset ECU, see if it will do anything and if it reads out any other code...
