looking to do a little upgrade as i update my basement.

since i've been out of the model car collecting scene for a long time....i need to know which companies make high detailed cars in 1/18 scale?

i used to always get autoart cars. also, who makes good ferrari models cars?

I have a collection of 7 Burago cars......

I've been looking for the '80's bmw cars but only found 5 series and 6 series.

AutoArt
Kyosho
Minichamps

For the most detailed car at reasonable prices(still pretty expensive though) check out Exoto.

http://www.exoto.com/s/1/ProductList...ttributeId=581
Don't let the prices on the official site scare you away, they can be found on ebay for less.

After Exoto, Minichamps, AutoArt, Kyosho will look like Maisto to you.

UT Models used to have some nice Ferrari's but they went out of business I believe. I've got a few different F355's from them.
