Is it something to be proud of? Going to jail is shameful. Breaking a law like that AND got caught is stupid, plus losing a license and hell lot of money, i dun care if u're a millionaire.
and the 197.7mph thing... i dun even wanna comment it. Do u even have time to look at the speedo when you're at THAT* speed?
*I really doubt that number

I remember back in the day watching a special program on TV... some tuner in the States was on a mission to be the first person to make a Mustang 5.0L break the 200mph barrier. They rented the TRC Oval in Ohio and it took them almost 5 different trys, 1100HP and all day testing to eventually do it... they even had to duct tape the hood down, remove the mirrors and tape up the windsheild to make it more aerodynamic. You're telling me you did this a few days ago and your Speedo (that only reads 140mph) notified you of hitting 197.7mph? HAHA... that's great man, congrats!
whatever

Hey guys, I am finally back. I spend a couple of nights in jail, for "exibition of speed" (that's what the cops said) plus for putting the general public in danger. I got spanked with a 4,500 ticket plus I lost my license for a year.
It was worth it though. I topped out my 5.0L stang at 197.7 mph. I am so happy although I am going to pay a fine price for that. Ho well, since the highway was empty (of course it was 2o'clock in the morning) the cops just gave me my ticket for my outstanding speed(which I am proud of) It took them quite a long time to catch me. The damn radar picked me up at 180 but my actual speed was 197 it took an hour for the damn cop toi catch up to me. When he did he said that I was the craziest ****ing driver his ever seen.

i'll beat that!

Derty. Good luck in court.
My dad got caught doing 250km, and he kept his foor on the floor . It took the cops 1/2 hour to find him. He was going up the 400 North (hit hwy 9 (davis dr.) and they caught him doing 250 and accelerating. He was going to Barrie National pines golf course. They didnt get him until he was on the 1st tee. hehehe
He got off and NO record of him speeding is on his perm. record.
Hope you get a couple breaks ........... GOOD LUCK !!

So do I. Also have two on the boat, one permanent for the speedo, and one as a combo depth finder / GPS / Chart plotter (boat speedo's are terribly inaccurate).
However, at 197.7 MPH, how much time do you really have to look at the display?
Like I said, I'm calling BS on it.

I'm not doubting the BS FACTOR on this guy, but i was just pointing out that it is in fact VERY POSSIBLE to figure out how fast your going!
