wheel refinishing feedbacks?

After the blown out, I quickly inspected the wheel and it seems fine, so now I ordered new tires for all 4 corners and will refinish the Hamann's.

Now, I've called few places, the prices range from $400-800 to refinish a set, my wheels do suffer some curb rash and needs new fresh coat of paint, but isn't $800 bit crazy?

got any suggestions on places that you guys have been to?

Collision Networks (Steve Rosenberg) Wheeltek (whatever he's calling his wheel butchering shop these days) is garbage; shitty work, shitty staff, poor results guaranteed.

Carcone's is AMAZING! great results every time!

I've used WheelTek several times now (once when they were Collision Networks) and once at their new place (WheelTek). I found that the recent work is better than when they were at Collision Networks...besides it's Steve and one or two others now. I have no problem taking more wheels to him in the future.

I had my x5 wheels refinished at collision networks when they were at the old location, the rims came out fine and the price wasn't too bad. I'm probably gonna let them refinish my e36 rims

I've used Wheel Fix... They straighten two of my oval (to the hub!) Euroweaves, filled and machined the lips, and cleared them for $240. Quoted me $400 to machine and refinish a whole straight set of BBS's. They do nice work!

x2 on wheel fix. I had a bent BBS LM fixed (bent through the hub), rim came out looking like the rest, if you looked at it, you couldn't tell which one it was. No other shop would touch it.

I used Rim Techniques (ask for Nigel) last spring to refinish M6 replica wheels (2 tone) with a fair bit of curb rash. $400 for the set included dismounting, remounting and balancing of the tires. Excellent work!!! Took 4 days to complete. 416-740-3773 (Islington and Steeles)

+1. Steve is a douche, I don't have a problem saying that to his face next time I see him, after the shitty job he did on my old 17s and the runaround excuses for a completion date. Avoid this place.

+1. We had a set of 18" BBS rims straightened by them, they did a great job on them! Highly recommended.

steves prices went up! i went by yestaurday to see how much he wanted to re-polish my dish on my rims...2" up front and 4" in the rear...he wants 80$ to repolish each rim+a 20$ dismounting+mounting.balance PER rim!.turns out $100 each rim! just to repolish without clearing them!!didnt even bother asking him how much to repaint..keep in mind my rims arent that bad!....time to make some phone calls!
