lock problem

okay my central locks started acting up on me. here's the breakdown:

passenger side - completely locked. i can't even turn the key to open it or open it from the inside of the car

driver side door - does not lock the car. when i go to lock the car i can hear the motor making some noise

trunk - i can open the trunk and lock it. but when it tries to lock all the doors it makes the same weird noise as the driver's side door.

Help please.

may be the central lock control unit. all you have in the doors are actuators which under electric signal move up or down to lock or unlock door. Control unit may be faulty causing an interruption in the signal. or one of your actuators is faulty. disconnect the drivers side and then see if you get the car from the passenger side and trunk. then try the passenger side.
