Yeah, he cries all the way to the bank, all over his Stanley Cup ring and gold medal.

I never understood the blind hatred of Sidney Crosby (current series notwithstanding). Yes, he had a tendency to complain to the officials when he was a young player, but is no nearly so bad anymore, even though he's the captain of his team and it's part of his job.

And you have to admit, he does have a knack for coming up big in big moments.

Regardless of which team you cheer for, if he was a free agent, you'd be hoping that he'd sign with your team.

What's driving me nuts is the Sens can't buy a goal at the moment, and Fleury isn't exactly looking like a world beater.

I know, we just can't take advantage of Fleury's game right now, and then at the other end we may as well just hang up a Jersey in the Net. Not saying Elliot sucks, but, he's not as good as alot of ppl are making him up to be imo. We need a solid #1 (Elliot would be more than a sufficient backup).

... my question is where the hell is Donovan? ffs this is the kind of hockey he should be playing, hard gritty games like these.

That's exactly it. He's not on our team! If I was a pens fan I would definetly be praising the ground he walks on. The thing is, I've always HATED the pens, and hate them more that they have 2 of the best players in the world.

I will admit this though, I never knew the Penguins were such a physical team, wow.

He never was one. I think Pittsburgh is like Detroit - they don't need a world beater goalie. They need someone who can reliably do a good enough job (perhaps steal a game once in a blue moon but mainly stop the obvious shots, no meltdowns), and they'll take care of the rest.

Maybe not a world beater, but you guys have to admit he comes up big when they need him too. Pittsburgh has its share of defensive breakdowns, and Fleury seems to get the job done in those moments.

More importantly though - Alfie got rocked, huh...

I know, made me cringe, you can certainly tell his age in his game this year.

I always liked fleury personally, and still think he's one of the better goalies in the league. As mentioned above, Pits has it's share of defensive breakdowns yet still manage to make it to 2 stanley cup finals, possibly three (if they get past the sens I don't think they will be stopable the way they are playing right now)

Up for tonight I better see Donovan and Cheechoo. We need more grit and experience in the lineup, not shannon and smith who are getting tossed around like dolls.

Flipping hell. The Sens shot themselves in the collective Bauer a few times last night, but the refs might as well have been wearing Pittsburgh jerseys at times.

And Pittsburgh.....they look like a really good playoff hockey team.
