E46 6 speed on E36?

I'm not sure but can a E46 6 speed trans fit on an E36 M3???

u could just buy the euro 6speed . it just bolts right in and u can use your existing clutch , flywheel setup . i have one in my car and it was an easy install

mine was 2600 shipped but since i didnt need anything else its cheaper and easier than doing the e46 6 speed swap

its that much for an E46 swap holy might as well go for the E36 euro for the same prices.
