my friend did that for me ... i think all you need just take out the corners first ... separate the housing from the light bulb, then just wash it manually with toothbrush and a bit of soap ... wash ... wash ... wash ... rinse ... dry it ... MAKE SURE you dry it really well, unless it will be foggy ... use a cloth then just dry it with air compressor from 7/11 pretty easy, eh

Quimis, your car is beautiful! I really want to make mine look like yours. I'm thinking of painting the lower bumper panels and I heard that the gray side mouldings can be made your 'car color' by simply rubbing them off. The car looks so clean too..

I heard you can smoke your lights with a 'tint spray paint' that can be bought in Home Depot/Candian Tire, and then spray the indicators so they get darker and add the clear coat. Apparently you can do that to all lights... So if you're poor, you can do some simple stuff like that
thanks ! i miss her so much yea, i heard you can rub them and probably you want to put a clear coat on it after that ... what color is yours ?

i didn't do much modification with the car that's why keep it clean is my first priority i washed her EVERY DAY after i drove it, wait a bit until the body and tires cool down

painting your lights to smoke you can use those Tamiya spray paint, but i'm not sure which specific black ... i dont know if you have to spray clear coat on it also ...

Here it is http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/show...threadid=11817

Stock for now but I want to start with some DIY's. I think you just spray the lights with a 30% tint or something, but I'm pretty sure you need clearcoat so the paint doesn't peel off or anything...

And as you can see I have grey side mouldings and I want to rub acetone on it, but I hope I won't damage the paint or anything. I see you repainted your car altogether so...

And yeah, I want to keep it clean.... so the value doesn't go down too much

I'm pretty sure a good body shop and $1000-1500 should fix all those body problems. I wouldn't go cheap because I've seen friends cars that got the rust and body damage fixed cheap and it came back looking like shit. DON'T GO CHEAP ON THE BODY. Save up and do the work proper
