Need New Hood Cable
So my hood release cable snapped at the release handle. I obviously need to buy a new cable. Does anyone know if the dealerships usually have these in stock, and maybe how much it would run?
Also while I have my car apart to put the cable in, I'm hoping to tackle another hood issue. The spring things that lock the hood down don't work. When I open the hood they don't go back into position, so I have to use a screw driver to move the springs into the lock position. Anyone know whether I need these too, or if I can fix them myself?

yea i know maranello has them in stock i just picked up the cable that connects the first lock to the second which is alot shorter than the cable you're looking for and i think i paid around $30 for it.
if im not mistaken the one that connects the release handle to the first lock comes with the handle and a few extras with it for about $60
dont quote me on this but msg maranellobmw (mike), hes the man

I seem to always tell you no lol. I found a cable last night. If this one falls through, or I need other parts for this job I'll let you know. Thanks though.
